We are looking for an Accessibility Engineer to ensure our digital experiences are inclusive and meet accessibility standards.
In this role, you will review UX designs, provide actionable feedback, and collaborate with development teams to integrate accessibility best practices from inception to deployment.
You will automate accessibility testing, conduct assessments, and ensure compliance with WCAG 2.2, Section 508, and WAI-ARIA standards.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and manage accessibility testing efforts across various platforms and content assessment for both desktop (web) and mobile applications.
+ Review design (UX) documents and provide actionable feedback for accessibility improvements.
+ Work closely with development teams to ensure accessibility best practices are followed from inception to deployment.
+ Automate accessibility testing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
+ Demonstrable knowledge of WCAG 2.2, Section 508, WAI-ARIA standards/guidelines/regulations.
+ Expertise in working with assistive technologies such as NVDA, JAWS, Talkback, and VoiceOver on both Web and mobile apps.
+ Good understanding of inclusive design principles and an obsessive eye for visual and interaction details.
+ Solid knowledge of semantic HTML and appropriate use of ARIA markup.
+ Hands-on experience in performing accessibility assessments, documenting results, and following through to ensure adherence.
+ Utilize AI and innovative automation tools to drive continuous improvement in accessibility testing.
+ Generate comprehensive reports and deliver analysis findings to stakeholders.
+ Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be willing and able to proactively reach out to stakeholders and team members for collaboration and support.
Preferred Skills:
+ Experience with accessibility testing tools (Axe, WAVE, ARC, CCA, Lighthouse, Insights, Accessibility Scanner etc.)
+ Certifications such as CPACC or WAS from IAAP
+ Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, UX as well
+ Experience in delivering accessibility trainings to developers and designers.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
+ 8+ years of experience in performance engineering
+ Strong experience of accessibility engineering tools and methodologies.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced,collaborative environment.
