Principal User Experience Designer :
We are SAP’s Procurement UX Team, part of the Business Suite, Finance & Spend Management organization.
Our organizational goal is to deliver procurement products that meet our customers’ needs and expectations.
The UX team is a globally distributed team based in US, India, and Europe.
Our team’s goal is to bring consumer-like ease to large-scale enterprise products.
We are a team of passionate UX colleagues who aims are passionate about delighting users with meaningful user experience and reducing complexity.
Our UX team in Pune is looking for a rock star Principal User Experience Designer.
Summary & Role Information :
The Principal User Experience Designer should have a strong design leadership mindset with compelling hands-on design skills and experience in presenting to and managing relationships with stakeholders and their adjacencies on a variety of efforts that support both the business and user experiences throughout the product suite.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Define and drive a comprehensive storyboard that outlines how all Procurement products come together
Focus on personas, mental models, information architecture, product integrations and cross product workflows, to provide a holistic perspective of Procurement products
Work closely with Product Management, Engineering and User Experience teams to evangelize and drive a comprehensive UX design process
Collaborate with SAP Design on key initiatives.
Provide subject matter expertise to various areas in the procurement products
Lead one or more strategic design initiatives
Provide mentorship and guidance to designers on the team
Actively contribute to product brainstorming and design sessions.
Experience / Role Requirements :
12+ years of experience in user experience design preferably with B2B and/or large-scale rich internet applications and products.
Deep understanding of user qualitative and quantitative experience research methodologies.
Strong evangelization skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to listen and articulate positions.
Experience working with development and product owners to redefine prior existing products.
(Preferred) Previous experience working on solutions in supply chain, finance, sales, marketing, or commerce.
Experience working with Agile/Lean UX methodologies.
