Job description
Local Manufacturing company is seeking a quality inspector to ensure the parts and products made internally, and those received from vendors meet customer's requirements.
Company is a leader in custom solutions for semiconductor, aerospace, and medical industries, and we are looking for individuals who would like to expand their experience into this growing high tech field.

Second Shift Schedule: 3:00pm-12:00am, train on days 7am-3:30pm
Job Description:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Inspect products delivered by Production to QC staging area to ensure conformance with drawings, instructions, and specifications in job folder.
• Inspects products delivered by receiving department according to drawings and specifications.
• Follow First Article guidelines as appropriate.
• Inspection with CMM tools
• Perform data entry and documentation
• Perform additional duties like handling, cleaning, and part engraving required prior to sending products to shipping department
Qualifications, Requirements, and/or Experience
The quality inspector must have adequate experience in inspection of machined parts.
A minimum of 2 years prior experience is required as well as a proven track record in ensuring that inspected parts, components or assemblies meet the specified requirements.
The quality inspector shall have the ability to read and interpret blue prints/mechanical drawings.
The quality inspector shall have demonstrated ability to utilize measurement equipment and devices necessary to verify the product results and compliance to specifications.
Such devices include but are not limited to:
• Minimum 2 years experience performing quality control functions
• Knowledge of GD&T
• Height gages
• Gage Pins
• Micrometers
• Digital/dial calipers
• Any measuring device used in the verification of the product
• Good communication- both oral and written
• Attention to detail, responsible, dependable
